A set of (4 inch) 100mm mecanum wheels (4 pieces) with Bearing Rollers 14094
This set includes four 100mm (4-inch) mecanum wheels — two left-handed and two right-handed — allowing you to mount one wheel of each type
on both sides of your robot. Each wheel is designed for independent drive control, enabling full omnidirectional movement.
Mecanum wheels allow your robot to move in any direction without changing the orientation of the wheels — forward, backward, and directly sideways.
This is achieved through a series of rollers mounted around the wheel’s circumference, each positioned at a 45° angle relative to the main axis of rotation.
The unique roller design enables smooth and precise motion control, making these wheels ideal for advanced robotics applications. Simply integrate them
into a standard chassis design and power each wheel with its own motor for full maneuverability.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the mecanum wheel?
Much easier to climb ramps with Mecanums. To my understanding Mecanums are also more efficient in forward and reverse directions (like a normal wheel) while still giving you lateral mobility. Omni-Drives will give you true omnidirectional motion.
The advantages of the Mecanum wheel and the omnidirectional wheel are flexibility and convenience, and the disadvantage is expensive. The omnidirectional wheel, as the name suggests,
can move in any direction, at any angle, and in any direction. mecanum wheel these rollers having an axis of rotation at 45° to the plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel.
