Each wheel features 8 rubber rollers mounted between two durable aluminum plates. The rollers are positioned at a 45-degree angle relative to the main rotational axis,
enabling smooth omnidirectional movement.
Equipping your robot with these mecanum wheels allows it to move forward, backward, and laterally without changing orientation — providing true multidirectional
mobility. All you need to add are your drive motors, controller board, and batteries to get started.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the mecanum wheel?
Much easier to climb ramps with Mecanums. To my understanding Mecanums are also more efficient in forward and reverse directions (like a normal wheel) while still giving you lateral mobility. Omni-Drives will give you true omnidirectional motion.
The advantages of the Mecanum wheel and the omnidirectional wheel are flexibility and convenience, and the disadvantage is expensive. The omnidirectional wheel, as the name suggests,
